our culture
The feel of Eden
Eden is a name we chose deliberately. The garden, in its oldest telling, is lush and full of choice; a place where curiosity is welcomed, where the body is trusted, and where pleasure and wisdom grow together. That's the energy we build every gathering around.
At Eden Events, we create spaces that are facilitated, consent-grounded, and carefully held, where people can arrive as they are, move at their own pace, and leave having felt something real. Whether you're joining us for a temple, a retreat, a workshop, or something else entirely, the same culture underpins every space we hold.
What We Hold
Presence
Everything we create is built around the quality of attention you bring. We invite you to arrive in your body, in your senses, your breath, your felt experience; let the outside world wait. The more present you are, the more alive the space becomes for everyone in it.
Consent
Consent at Eden is a living conversation. Asking, offering, receiving, and declining are all equally valued. A yes is celebrated, a no is respected, and silence is never read as agreement. This is how we move together safely, and how real connection, and real play, becomes possible.
Optionality
Every invitation is exactly that, an invitation. Nothing is required, nothing is assumed. You can participate fully, witness quietly, or change your mind at any point. Follow your curiosity, honour your edges, and move at your own pace.
Integration
We build reflection into every event because we know the value of an experience often arrives in the closing, not just the peak. Time to land, to breathe, to let things settle is part of how we hold our spaces, not an afterthought.
Feedback
Your reflections after an event help us tend the garden. We send a short form after every gathering and read what comes back. If something moved you, troubled you, or could have been better, we want to know.
Frequently Asked Questions
Every event type has its own shape, so we've organised questions accordingly. Find what's relevant to you, and reach out if you need anything more.
Purchasing a ticket for any Eden Events gathering is taken as confirmation that you have read and agree to the event agreements and refund policy.

What is a Temple Eden event?
Temple Eden is a facilitated, consent-based space for presence, connection, play, and embodied exploration. Sexuality, desire, and intimacy are welcomed here, held safely, playfully, and with care. It is kink-friendly, though kink is not the focus.
Who can attend?
Temple events are open to adults 18+ of all genders, bodies, sexualities, and abilities, unless the specific event states otherwise. Each event listing will note if there are attendance parameters.
Do I need prior experience?
No prior experience is necessary. Temple is beginner-inclusive while still offering depth for those who have been in these spaces before. Curiosity is the only requirement.
What should I bring?
A water bottle, something for personal comfort (blanket, shawl, cushion), hygiene essentials and anything to freshen up during the event, safer sex supplies, and a sarong for surface protection. Leave valuables at home where possible.
What should I wear?
Wear something that makes you feel empowered, sensual, or playful; whether that's lingerie, leather, lace, layers, or something simple. No glitter please, it's near impossible to clear from the space. Consider how you'll cover up for transit.
Are phones allowed?
No phones, cameras, or recording devices inside the temple space. Confidentiality and presence are central to how we hold these spaces.
Is sexual activity permitted?
Touch, intimacy, and consensual exploration are welcome within the temple agreements and culture.
How do I handle an uncomfortable experience?
Consent is continuous and can be withdrawn at any time. Facilitators are present throughout and available if something feels unsafe or overwhelming. You can step back, take a break, or simply witness at any point.
What are the agreements?
Upon booking you'll receive a link to our agreements and culture guide, both required reading before attending. These cover consent practices, hygiene, confidentiality, and how we move together in the space.
Can I come with a friend or partner?
Yes, though all participants must hold their own ticket and agree to the agreements individually.
What about post-event support?
If something felt overwhelming, unsafe, or non-consensual during the event, please reach out to us directly via email.

Everything in the Temple FAQs above applies to sapphic events. The following are specific to sapphic events.
Who are sapphic temple events for?
Sapphic temple events are held for women, non-binary, and gender-diverse people who have a vulva. They are intentionally held without people who identify as male or non-binary and have a penis. This boundary exists to meet specific safety and relational needs expressed by participants around early experiences of sexuality and body vulnerability. We hold other events open to all gender identities.
Do I need to identify as sapphic or queer to attend?
No. These events welcome anyone within the attendance parameters who feels curious about or drawn to sapphic connection, regardless of how they identify or what their relationship history looks like.
What does sapphic mean in this context?
Sapphic describes the attraction, chemistry, and erotic connection that can arise between women and femme-aligned people. In this space it can show up as conversation, flirtation, touch, play, or simply being in a room where that particular current of connection is welcomed and centred.

Who are the retreats for?
Currently our retreats are women-only residential experiences. They're for women who want something deeper than surface connection, who feel curious about embodiment, pleasure, and reclaiming parts of themselves that have been set aside. No prior experience with retreats, breathwork, somatics, or ritual is needed.
What's included?
Accommodation, all meals for the duration of the retreat, fully facilitated sessions, daily embodiment and nervous system practices, breathwork, ritual, archetypal and shadow work, integration circles, and a closing Temple Night ceremony. Plenty of unstructured time is built in for rest, nature, and reflection.
What should I pack?
Comfortable clothes for movement and lounging with layers for temperature changes, something you feel beautiful in for the Saturday evening, swimwear, daily medications or supplements, personal body care, a journal, phone charger, a sarong or towel for massage or self-pleasure practices, and any adornments or dress-up pieces that help you feel most like yourself, or most unlike yourself.
Is nudity involved?
Nudity is welcome in the retreat space and on the grounds, and entirely optional. Some practices may include the option to be unclothed within clearly facilitated, consent-based spaces. There is never pressure to remove clothing or engage beyond your comfort. Everything is invitational.
Is the retreat suitable if I'm currently struggling with my mental health?
The retreat is trauma-aware and carefully held, and we work with the nervous system throughout. It may not be suitable if you are currently in acute psychological crisis or require clinical therapeutic support. If you're unsure, reach out before booking and we'll help you assess whether the timing is right.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes. A small number of discounted tickets are also available for BIPOC women and those experiencing financial hardship. Please reach out confidentially to enquire.

What kind of experiences do you offer for hens events?
We design and host bespoke sexuality-based experiences for hens parties: think BJ masterclasses, self-pleasure rituals, saucy trivia, and other playful, body-positive formats. Every event is curated to what the group actually wants, so if you have something specific in mind we're open to the conversation.
How do we book and customise?
Get in touch with us directly with a rough idea of what you're after, your group size, date, and location. We'll work with you from there to put something together.
Where do you host?
We come to you. You provide the venue, your home, a hired space, wherever the group is gathering, and we bring everything needed to run the experience.
What do you provide?
Us, as your hosts, plus all materials and props relevant to the experience; for example a BJ masterclass comes with its own props. You organise food, drinks, and any other elements of the night.
Is this suitable for a mixed-comfort group?
Yes. We're experienced at reading a room and calibrating to the energy of the group. All experiences are consent-based and participatory at each person's own comfort level; nobody is put on the spot or made to participate in anything they're not up for.
Is it confidential?
Completely. What happens at your hens event stays there.

These agreements apply to all Temple Eden events. By attending you are confirming you have read and agree to the following.
Yourself and others Arrive fresh and attend to hygiene throughout the event. Use safer sex practices as negotiated, and have conversations about sexual health where relevant. If you are in a relationship, check in with your partner before and after attending.
Consent Seek a clear verbal or non-verbal yes before any touch or play, and receive a no gracefully and without question. Consent is continuous and can be withdrawn at any time.
Presence and confidentiality Keep everyday conversation to designated areas and remain present in the temple space. Phones and recording devices are not permitted inside. Share only your own experience outside of temple; the stories and identities of others stay in the room.
Kink Temple Eden is not a kink-based space, and kink is welcome here as a pathway of exploration. Where kink is practised, personal responsibility, informed consent, and the safety of all involved are non-negotiable.
Your own care Tune into your body throughout the event, voice your boundaries, and ask for what you need. Facilitators are present and available if something feels overwhelming or unsafe. If you need to leave early, please let a facilitator know so your transition can be witnessed and supported.
Liability By attending you release the facilitators and venue from liability for any incidents or outcomes arising from your participation. Temple Eden is a private space and you participate at your own risk.
